  Adel Bahtanović 

  President of UNIQA SEE FUTURE Foundation 

  Adel has been part of UNIQA since 2010. He began his career at UNIQA Bosnia and Herzegovina. In 2014, he transferred to UNIQA International Group based in Vienna, where he lives and currently serves as Chief Retail and Bancassurance Officer International, as well as President for the SEE region.

  Driven by a desire to empower the next generation, Adel founded the SEE Future Foundation with the goal of identifying emerging talent across the region and supporting young people in realizing their ambitions and dreams

  Ljiljana Nikolić 

  Management Board member

  Ljiljana is an accomplished HR and People Executive with over a decade of experience in the field of People Management. She began her career at leading firms such as Wolf Theiss and Lafarge / Holcim before joining UNIQA Insurance Group AG in 2013. Since then, she has held key leadership roles, including Head of People Business Partner & Recruiting (2021) and her current position as Chief People & Brand Officer or UNIQA SEE (since 2023).

  Ljiljana holds a Master´s Degree from Vienna University of Economics and is a certified Coaching Professional. Passionate about the human side of business, she thrives at the intersection of people, brand, and leadership.

  Lukas Oliver Pavić

  Management Board member

  Lukas Oliver Pavić brings a wealth of experience to his role at UNIQA, following a distinguished career spanning insurance, finance, and sales leadership across Europe. Prior to joining UNIQA, he served as a member of the Management Board at Allianz (2019–2023), where he oversaw sales operations in Croatia and Slovenia, driving strategic growth initiatives. His tenure followed a successful five-year period at Croatia Osiguranje (2014–2019), where he held progressive leadership roles focused on optimizing sales efficiency and expanding market reach.

  Oliver's expertise is rooted in a strong academic foundation, having earned his degree in Economic Sciences in Berlin—the city where he launched his professional journey. Beyond executive leadership, he is actively engaged in shaping industry knowledge as a frequent lecturer at the Croatian Insurance Office (HUO), sharing insights on sales innovation and operational excellence.

  Philip Mihaylov

  Management Board member

  Philip Mihaylov launched his career at UNIQA Bulgaria in 2008 as a Junior Financial Analyst, balancing this role while completing his undergraduate studies in Finance at the University of National and World Economy — a program he successfully concluded two years later. Over the ensuing 17 years, he steadily ascended through the company’s ranks.  By early 2022, he was appointment to the Management Board of UNIQA Bulgaria.

   

  In 2022, Philip expanded his responsibilities by assuming the role of Executive Director of Finance and Risk for UNIQA’s South-Eastern Europe regional structure. This position complemented his ongoing duties within UNIQA Bulgaria, underscoring his strategic influence across both local and regional operations.

  Petra Šolman

  Foundation manager

  Petra began her career at UNIQA in 2009. Over the next decade, she took on diverse responsibilities in the Marketing and Communications Department, where she honed her expertise in partner and client communications, event management (both internal and external), marketing material development, and strategic marketing planning.
  In 2021, Petra transitioned to the Customer Relationship Team, leveraging her prior experience to enhance customer touchpoints and ensure seamless interactions with UNIQA. The following year (2022), she joined the SEE C&A Team, expanding her skills in the corporate segment.
  Since 2024, Petra has served as the Manager of the UNIQA SEE FUTURE Foundation, where she continues to drive impactful initiatives.

  She holds a degree from the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Zagreb.
