🌍 UNIQA is among the key players in the sustainable transformation of the SEE region

With this message, Adel Bahtanović opened the GPF Global SEE powered by UNIQA conference which gathered more than 300 participants from the business, institutional and academic environment in Zagreb with the aim of jointly opening a dialogue on the sustainable future of Southeast Europe.

As a co-organizer and main partner, UNIQA actively participated in the creation of this important regional event, confirming its commitment to the themes of sustainability, climate action, and green innovation. In this context, the role of insurance companies is changing today - from the traditional role of protection providers, they are moving to reliable partners in risk management, helping companies to better understand them and more safely implement the transition to a more sustainable business.

Lukas Oliver Pavic, Ljiljana Nikolic, Nela Belević, Stefan Winkler and Ramona BERNIC gave their contribution to the key topics that shape a more sustainable future of the region through discussions and exchange of practical experiences in front of the UNIQA Group.
The focus of the conversation was on:

🔹strengthening companies' resistance to climate change
🔹developing reliable solutions for stable and sustainable growth

Through the exchange of ideas and perspectives, the GPF Global SEE powered by UNIQA conference opened up important questions about how we can jointly build a more resilient and sustainable economy in the region and sent a message: the green and energy transition in the SEE region continues on a real business basis, with the strong support of the insurance sector.
