We are delighted to announce that Milica Živković, the winner of our Mentorship Program for Visual Artists, has launched her very first institutional exhibition, 'The Roots Of Small Fires,' at MuseumsQuartier Wien.

It was a truly special evening at the exhibition opening, with Mr. Adel Bahtanović, President of the UNIQA SEE FUTURE Foundation, addressing the guests. Underlining the Foundation’s mission and its meaningful projects, Mr. Bahtanović expressed deep appreciation to UNIQA SEE FUTURE Foundation’s partners for their role in fostering impactful change and creating opportunities for young talents.

Curated under the mentorship of the incredible Šejla Kamerić, this powerful body of work was developed during Milica’s two months residency in Vienna and is now part of MQ’s 25th anniversary programme. Seeing her vision come to life in such an iconic cultural space fills us with pride.

The exhibition is the result of a meaningful collaboration between the UNIQA SEE FUTURE Foundation, Nomad, Nomarts, and MQ - rooted in our shared belief that investing in young and talented artists means investing in the future of art.

For us, this is more than an exhibition opening. It’s a confirmation that long-term support, trust, and creative freedom can lead to truly remarkable things.
Congratulations, Milica!
