At the UNIQA SEE FUTURE Foundation, we believe in backing young dreams with real opportunity. That's exactly what we did this summer – sending outstanding young athletes from the SEE region to the Tennis Summer by Goran Ivanišević camp in Split.
This journey unfolded on the iconic Firule courts, the same courts where Goran's own tennis fairytale began. Small groups of just four players meant deep focus and personalized coaching, while daily sessions on fitness, mental strength, nutrition, and recovery built character beyond the game. And then came the moment everyone had been waiting for – Goran himself, sharing the unfiltered truth behind his legendary 2001 Wimbledon win, straight from the heart.
"We are very happy and proud to be part of this journey. Being a part of positive change is always the biggest award," says Petra Å olman, UNIQA SEE FUTURE Foundation manager. "What fills me with joy is that our efforts are recognized and that we are regarded as a foundation that empowers young talents to reach their full potential."
Sport teaches resilience, discipline, and unity. Being part of this journey, even for a moment, is a privilege we don't take lightly. Watching these kids absorb advice, compete with heart, and grow before our eyes reminds us why we do what we do.
